Blog Issues

Good Morning.  I have had several of you mention that you would like to comment on the blog but don't know how.  Well....I'm in the same boat.  Sorry.  I will figure it out and get back to you.  If any of you are proficient, please send me an email with your suggestions.  In the meantime please feel free to email me at yolanda.zellars@yahoo.com.

Dad is doing well.  Reading up on what to expect with chemo.  He loves his garden and has produced some awesome cucumbers.  If you know Dad, he loves a good salad, so I've had plenty since I've been up here.

My husband Harry joined me this weekend.  It was good to see him.  I haven't been home in over a week. (I usually go home every week) I really miss my children:  Sheronda, Marcus, Jana'y and Tiffany. Oh, and our puppy, Prophet. Thanks you guys for holding down the fort.  Harry is a great Mr. Mom :-)
Dad says Hey, and thanks for joining us.

My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. James 1:2

  1. Hey, there. I sent a message several days ago not sure you got it, but checking to see how things are going today. Praying that your feeling good as expected. I'm sure we will all make a visit to check on you in the coming months so don't slam the door when you look out and it's your family stopping by, without notice. LOL! Love you and will talk with you soon. Biddy

  2. Hey Biddy, Dad did get your first post about being favorite niece #2. I just read this one to him and he did laugh out loud. Thanks for keeping up with him. He wants you guys to find your family history booklets he passed out a few years ago. You know Dad, it's all about family.

  3. I don't think we got the booklets only the real geezers received them, but I do have Aunt Birdies that I haven't returned as of yet. Need to find out more about grandma's (Stringfellow-spelling may be off) in order to get the goods on her. Praying for complete healing for my Uncle I love him, and need him. Mikki said she sent something but I have yet to find it. Blogging is tough be we are going to get it. You never know if Unc receives what we send or not. Thanks for the confirmation that it is being seen. Love ya, family.

  4. Biddy, Dad says he doesn't know much about Grandma Stringfellow. Her frist name was Annie she was of course married to Ed Redden. He would like for you to investigate and find more information. He said to call Aunt Birdie Mae and see if she knows more names from that side. He said your dad may know something to get you started. (See what you've started :-) He sends his love. Thanks for the post.

  5. Hello Lo,
I sure hope that this blog transmits. I have written at least two earlier and I guess that they are floating somewhere in Cyberspace. I am happy to hear that you are taking all of this on the chin like the Champ that you are. You know that you have always been my hero ;-)! All of us are pulling for you and not a day goes by that I do not hear, "Have you heard from Lorenzy". So I truly appreciate Yolanda for creating this communication vehicle. Some real good stuff is happening with the PLCC that I think that you will truly be pleased with. We are back on course and working together as God intends for us.

Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits. Who forgive all our inquities; who heals all our diseases....Psalms 103: 2-3

  6. Serina, You did it! Dad smiled real big when I read to him that people were asking you if you'd heard from him. That made him feel good.
And you know the PLCC is second only to his family. He is passionate about 'our' heritage being preserved. It has been his prayer that 'we all just get along' and reach our stated goals as a community.
Thank you for your comments. Please keep up with him and let him know how things are going.
